Brush with Hope

Brush with Hope's mission is to give underprivileged children and youth group an opportunity to examine and express their inner selves through medium of art. The project also creates a safe environement for participating children to exchange their stories and hopes that no one has asked before and express them creatively with others.



Education Team

  • Artist - 6 volunteers
  • Art Educator - 2 volunteers
  • Art Therapist - 2 volunteers
  • Designer - 3 volunteers
    In architecture, interior design, jewelry design, graphic design, ceramics, and other design fields
  • Musician - 1 volunteer
    Professional players or students majored in performing music who can bring his/her musical instrument (violin, cello, flute, etc)

Creative Team

  • Photographer - 1 volunteer
    Record project progress

  • Videographer - 1 volunteer
    Record project progress

Administrative team

  • Accounting/Banking - 1 volunteer
    Budget management and recording
  • Catering(Chef) - 1 volunteer
    Prepare dinner for at least 40+ team members
  • Medical - 1 volunteer
    Medical doctors, nurses, physician assistants with exerience in international work and knowledge in emergency care for common diseases in developing countries

Strategic Planning and Research team

  • Planning, Analysis, Evaluation - 1 volunteer
    Experience with strategic planning, measure develepment, project monitoring and evaluation

* The cost to participate in this project is following: round-trip airfare, personal items and $120 to be paid on site.
